Das Konig Trumpf, aka the Orange King marches on - unbelievable!

On Sunday’s  March 29^th press briefing journalist Yamiche Alcindor, of PBS,  asked King Trumpf about his statement that governors are asking for things that they don’t need. King Trumpf interrupted: “I didn’t say that.”

“You said it on Sean Hannity’s Fox News,” Alcindor replied.

“Why don’t you act in—a little more positive?” Das Konig asked. And then he continued: “Look, let me tell you something: be nice. Don’t be threatening.” He kept trying to shut her up and of course never answered her question. 

Ooooh - soooo presidential!

Das Trumpf wants governors, and reporters, to butter  him up, (kneeling comes next) if they want his help. .On Friday, March 27,  he said  governors don’t deserve his attention if they aren’t “appreciative” (“If they don’t treat you right, I don’t call”). He stated that he told Half Pence not to call Gov. Jay Inslee, of Washington or Gov. Gretchen Whitmer; he called Whitmer  “the woman in Michigan.”  CNN’s Jeremy Diamond asked him about these ‘governor’ statements, and was attacked, with King Trumpf’s usual refrain about CNN reporting “fake news.” The King explained he was only demanding gratitude for his entire team, not just for himself……(ho ho ho) “I want them to appreciate the incredible job we’re doing.”

I’m so terrified that the King and his minions will find a way to mess up the November elections. Das Konig is nervous about reelection I’m sure and the provisions to safeguard voting the Democrats tried to attach to the stimulus bill evoked more tantrums via tweeting. He was extremely pissed about the Dems asking for more polling locations, allow mail-in voting, etc.  King Trumpf believes that making sure people can vote is “crazy.” The King said if we took these safeguard steps (which means providing adequate funding), “you’d never have a Republican elected in this country again.”    

Wow – does that mean we wouldn’t be able to enjoy centuries of Cornyn, Graham, McConnell ruling the land, lining their pockets?

And the final Covid-19 straw: my state’s idiot Lt. Governor Dan Patrick  said that the elderly should be willing to die to help the economy.

But why does that surprise me? Ageism is  pervasive in the U.S. Getting older is apparently not on anyone’s agenda – until they’ve arrived.

Three Blind Rats: Mootch McConnell, Mini-Mnuchin and the Orange King

Mootch McConnell’s complaining about Democrats holding back aid during the pandemic – how low can he go? He gets his Russian Oligarch buddies to make sure a Russian owned aluminum plant opens in Kentucky – and of course to contribute to his election PAC; he also rakes in money via his Transportation Secretary wife and her fat cat family in China and then - when he has a chance to do something worthwhile -  takes the weekend off (dismissing his followers) just when the Dems. had a pandemic economic plan ready to consider.

He returns and has a temper tantrum because the Dems. don’t like his ideas: his version of a bill includes a slush fund for the Orange King and his mini-Mnuchin to share with their major corporate friends. This of course includes buddies who hang out at Mar-a-Lago and top GOP fundraisers. And let’s not forget to bail out the poor corporations who register their businesses outside this country to avoid paying taxes – like all the cruise lines, pharmaceutical companies and more. Just think - they don't pay taxes here but when times are tough - guess what - they come crying  to the King: HELP US!

And the people who really need help? No jobs, no food on the table, no money for home payments and no money for health care? The Orange King does not deal with anyone who can’t line his pockets!

Every now and then I'm subjected to a clip or two of the Orange King's utterances - "really great, incredible, I'm smart",  but even with his limited vocabulary - enough words come spitting out - serving mainly  as an emetic.

The King, talking about the country's Corona virus fears, reminded the audience he really was smart - since he was related to an uncle who taught "science" at MIT - and then said:  “I like this stuff. I really get it. People are surprised that I understand it. Every one of these doctors said, ‘How do you know so much about this?’ Maybe I have a natural ability. Maybe I should have done this instead of running for President.”

There is absolutely no comment I can make that would do justice to the insanity of his statement!

People killed by a tornado in Tennessee, Deaths from Covid-19 virus here and abroad, world is shuddering as the pandemic expands and guess what Queen Melania and her PR lackey Grisham are up to: promoting the ongoing construction of a tennis pavilion, (for benefit of visiting - or resident tennis players who, alas have had to use the courts in the past with no place to hang out afterwards?). The pavilion reflects a neoclassical style to match her subsidized home.

Orange King's campaign speech in Congress Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2020 - lies, lies and more lies!

So the big SOTU campaign propaganda speech is over. Best part was watching Nancy Pelosi tear up the speech after the Orange King concluded his too long collection of lies. When Pelosi was asked why she tore up the Orange King’s campaign speech in the House Tuesday night after he concluded: "It was the courteous thing to do considering the alternative." She called the campaign speech a “manifesto of untruths." 

And now – our sources of info – once called the free and honest press – are sooooo upset about Nancy’s “rudeness” in tearing up the King’s speech at the end of the TV extravaganza show.

For more than three years the Republican King has insulted, criticized and LIED. So when a legislator has the "chutzpah: to express herself visually after the SOTU campaign speech all hell breaks loose in print, on radio, TV. Correct me if I’m wrong – is  hypocrisy still an accepted word in the dictionary?

If you’re not familiar with this man’s feeling about women and other people, here a few garbage items that have spewed from his mouth:

“Feminism, was established so as to allow unattractive women access to the mainstream of society.”  He coined the slur “feminazi” on his radio “show” and complained constantly about the crime of women seeking to claim value - not given to them by men. (oooh, sorry your highness)

He said abortion was how militant feminists “impose their will on the rest of society, particularly on men.” 

He referred to a college student by name calling her a "slut" and a "prostitute" for arguing that contraceptives should be more widely available.

And his science was impeccable: he told listeners that both Styrofoam and plastic were biodegradable (but that paper is not!)

His name calling matches the Orange King: – especially children -  he called  Amy Carter "the most unattractive presidential daughter in the history of the country," and 12-year-old Chelsea Clinton the “White House dog.” 

This terrible man now has cancer so we get another TV moment – in the middle of the SOTU campaign speech; the King’s wife hangs the Congressional Medal around the guy’s neck. This how the Orange King rewards slime!

And Iowa? Oy! The Democratic National Committee Chair (Perez) needs to be replaced -  ridiculous rules and regulations skewering eligible candidates. I’m still waiting for a candidate who can topple the Orange King – money helps and maybe that’s why Bloomberg is looking better these days. Bernie’s “pie in the sky” promises won’t fly;the Orange King and his Republican Party will skewer him.

Our scary Orange King continues to rant - adored by his Congressional courtiers

A recent speech given at the  Israeli American Council National Summit in Florida, displayed our Orange King in full TV /social media mode – full of Jewish stereotypes. He talked about Jews and greed, Jews and money, Jews as ruthless wheeler-dealers. “A lot of you are in the real estate business because I know you very well,” he said. "You’re brutal killers, not nice people at all.”

Anti-Semitic incidents in the U.S. increased by sixty per cent during the first year of Trump’s Presidency, according to the Anti-Defamation League. This past year will set a record for the number of anti-Semitic attacks. 

So - on Wed. Dec 11, 2019, the Orange King signed an executive order to withhold federal funds  from colleges where students are not protected from anti-Semitism.

The Orange King’s son-in-law Jared Kushner defined anti-Semitism in a NYTimes op-ed: Anti-Zionism is anti-Semitism.” In other words, if you criticize Israel, its policies or politicians, you’re an anti-Semite. Thus if a college/university criticizes Israel for taking over a Palestinian village (illegal under international law) they are anti-Semitic.

Using that kind of thinking -  if I oppose my country’s gun laws I’m anti-American, if I don’t approve placing children in cages at our border I’m anti-American. And if I oppose my propaganda minister Herr Stephen Goebbels Miller I’m anti-American?

Gotcha Gaetz - Gargantuan Goon

In late October, Republican Rep. Matt Gaetz of Florida was one of the idiot Republican children who barged into  the SCIF (Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility) where an impeachment inquiry witness was getting ready to testify. That stupid act was a major violation of security protocol. (The SCIF had to be completely reset by security experts after some of the Republican invaders brought their cell phones into the area.) 

But there’s more!  Gaetz is a master at childish, petulant, idiotic behavior and he gave an earlier performance on Oct. 14.

House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff was opening a hearing where Fiona Hill was about to testify to the impeachment committee. Schiff  began by inviting  Rep. Jim Jordan, Republican from Ohio and an Orange King sycophant, to make an opening statement. Suddenly, before Jordan started, Schiff  stopped him and said:  “Excuse me. Could we suspend?”

??? Schiff  saw Rep. Matt Gaetz in the room - who was not a member of any the three committees (Intelligence, Foreign Affairs, and Oversight) conducting the depositions.

Strict House rules: not a committee member -  not allowed in the closed-door session!!!!

Here are some transcript notes of the ensuing "conversation" between Schiff and Gaetz ; it's hard to believe it really happened.

THE CHAIRMAN: Excuse me. Could we suspend?

Do we have any members here who are not members of the three committees authorized to be present?

Mr. Gaetz, you are not permitted to be in the room.

MR. GAETZ: I am on the Judiciary Committee.

THE CHAIRMAN: The Judiciary Committee is not part of this hearing.

MR. GAETZ: I thought the Judiciary Committee had jurisdiction over impeachment.

THE CHAIRMAN: Mr. Gaetz, you are not permitted to be in the room. Please leave. 

MR. GAETZ: Mr. Chairman, really?

THE CHAIRMAN: Yes, really.

MR. GAETZ: You’re going to include members of Congress on committees that have roles on impeachment ---

THE CHAIRMAN: Mr. Gaetz, take your statement to the press. They do you no good here. So, please, absent yourself.

MR. GAETZ: You’re going to have someone remove me from the hearing?

THE CHAIRMAN: You’re going to remove yourself, Mr. Gaetz.

(Smarmy JORDAN jumped in then and said: Mr. Gaetz is going to stay and listen to the testimony.)

THE CHAIRMAN: Mr. Gaetz, you’re going to leave the room.

MR. GAETZ: No, I think I have a right to be here—is there a rule you can cite as to why I am not— 

THE CHAIRMAN: You’re not a member of this committee. This is a closed-door session. You’re not permitted to be here.

MR. GAETZ: I’m on the Judiciary Committee.

THE CHAIRMAN: Mr. Gaetz, please absent yourself from the committee. It’s the ruling of the chair you’re not permitted to be here. Please leave the committee.........Mr. Gaetz, you are not a member of the three designated committees that are participating in this interview. You’re not permitted to be here. That is the ruling of the chair and you are required to leave.

MR. GAETZ: Do you have a rule that you’re able to cite for that?

THE CHAIRMAN: I am citing the House rules and the deposition rules. You are not permitted to be here.

MR. GAETZ: Which rule?

THE CHAIRMAN: Mr. Gaetz you are simply delaying the procedures in violation of the rules. Please absent yourself.

MR. GAETZ: Which rule?

THE CHAIRMAN: Why don’t you take your spectacle outside? This is not how we conduct ourselves in this committee.

MR. GAETZ: I’ve seen how you conducted yourself in this committee, and I’d like to be here to observe.

Schiff never lost his cool but certainly by now, he'd heard enough garbage spewing out of this 7 year old bully Republican from Florida.

THE CHAIRMAN: We’ll wait until Mr. Gaetz leaves before we begin. I do want to say this dilatory tactic will come out of the minority’s time for questioning. 

MR. GAETZ: This isn’t dilatory. You can begin anytime you like.

THE CHAIRMAN:  We’re going to begin the clock. This will come out of the minority’s time for questioning.

(MR. JORDAN: Well, I had a statement I wanted to get to when you interrupted me.)

THE CHAIRMAN: We’re not back on the record..............

Get the picture? A short time later Matt Gaetz "removed himself from the room" – on his own!

This would be funnier if it wasn't so tragic - realizing that Matt Gaetz is a U.S. Representative. And what does it say about the people who voted for this arrogant/stupid/petulant/childish bully?

Graham's incapable boss and friends......no problem - incapable goes in the same basket as lying and narcissism (and a dab of stupidity).
